Been on the forum since March and I have mainly read that this size tire will rub if I don't do some cutting. I just saw a guy at Wallyworld and he has a leveling kit with 285's. He turned the wheel both ways and has plenty of clearance. I have an OME 3 inch with aal and don't do much wheeling. I plan on putting 285's on this spring or a little earlier. I'll just keep my fingers crossed?.

you can get by without cutting the cab mount if you have it aligned so it pushes the wheel forward, may have to trim the fender flares a bit.

i have OME suspension as well and i rub on the drivers side, but clear on passenger side by maybe 1/4" but i go wheeling once a week so i will be trimming a bit to clear when aired down

The guy I talked to had an '08. He did no trimming at all, still had room even with the wheel turned. He didn't have mud flaps on his truck though.

He might have had older tires cause with 285's your going to rub if you dont do some minor trimming. I have a 3" lift and I still rub the cab mount a little bit at full lock. Trimming is super easy....nothing a dremel cant fix.
