Im not sure if you resolved this issue while using your Android. I came across the same problem with my 19' TRD OR. When using the factory USB port the Android Auto cut in and out. My fix to this was unplugging the usb port on the back of the stereo and use a high quality/high speed charge phone charger. I then ran ot out to cab. No issues since. However, this will now make the Apple Car Play inoperable.

Just another couple datapoints from me...

Apple CarPlay randomly stopped working for me until I hit the reset button, and it's been working fine since.

A couple days ago, the Stinger unit had a weird glitch where it failed to start up after I started the truck. The screen showed the Stinger logo as usual but would flash to a black screen and then back to the logo, over and over again. It did it several times until I hit the reset button and it all sorted out.

I bought the mini-SD Nav card. Works okay. City maps look good. I usually use Apple or Gaia for routes. The annoying bit about the Nav system is the recurring message about the GPS signal loss when I'm in a tunnel, canyon or out of satellite reception. It interrupts whatever I'm playing over the speakers to announce "GPS Signal Lost". When in canyons, the message can get annoying real fast. I can't figure out how to turn off this notification. I turned off all the red light, speed camera, etc other warnings off. Can't find a way to get it to STFU about the GPS signal.

Overall, I'm still happy with the purchase. I get better use out of this than the stock unit. Gaia and OnX offroad maps show up well on the 10" screen.

Can anyone tell me these 2 points I would like confirmation on before purchasing this as Stinger has a sale now

    - does Birds Eye view show up like it does with my 21 taco with all four stock cameras?

    - are all the stock car settings available and same functionality from within the head unit (ie, door settings, etc)?
