Hey, so I got new tires. Ridge grapplers 265-75-16

bad shake when they first put them on over 55

    got rebalanced

seemed ok, today drove it and it did it again then after a few minutes stopped.

    what could be cashing this?

    Oh look, another mod....
If they are still causing your truck to shimmy/shake, then they still aren't balanced. Have them re-re-balanced. You may also have defective tires.

Wonder what would cause it to shake some today, then stop after driving a few minutes

Some tires, not all will flat spot a bit when sitting a bit. Either from sitting on hot surface, or long time. Also poor quality tires will do it also (which your are not) But no experience with ridge grapples, on terra grappler. Have had ma y set, with no problems.

Ridge Grappler's don't typically flat spot. I've had three sets and my SIL at least 5 sets on different vehicles. They are great tires. I'd take them back to the shop if it happens again.

The SuperSwamper Radials I ran on my Explorer would flat spot over night regardless of temperature.... not the best daily driver tire in hindsight but awesome offroad!

I get a bit of flat-spotting on my K02s but only if they sit for several days.

Make sure the shop that mounted the tires has the proper adapter for Toyota wheels when they balance them. I had an issue like this on my Gen 1 a while back and finally had the dealer balance them and they were smooth like new.

I say tires are flat spotting and after you go a few miles they return to round. Very common in today's tires. My factory Toyos do that every morning on a gravel driveway. Usually notice it more on a concrete or pavement but that's what they are using in belt material today in tires.
