Bandaid and use nitril gloves. Take breaks to let it breathe and you should be good.

Sliced my hand open a while back with a cut off wheel. Rinsed it with water then did a pressurized flush (small hole in cap) with hydrogen peroxide to get the debris out. Used a wrap of paper towel and electrical tape for an hour, followed by super glue.
Went to VA urgent care a couple days later to get a tetanus booster and they said I did a better job than they would have and that I must've picked that up in the army. Yep, I still have a bottle of superglue in my IFAK.

    Leg:anonymous:
Shit hurt, I limped in the house and sat down. My kid (14) comes over to look at it. All of sudden he got close enough and yells "omg you can see the bone!". My wife and kid are telling me I need stitches. I looked them dead in the eye and said "I would rather lose the leg then have stitches in my shin" .

Actual medical grade surgical adhesive is the way to go...but not available over the counter

BUT...tip here...you CAN buy veterinary surgical adhesive and it's the same stuff. I keep some around just in case

You can also buy a suture kit and lidocaine. The lido is harder to find without a medical license, however, but I do have some.
