I have a 2013 Tacoma. Has anyone mounted 285-75r16 on stock rims? Where there any problems or concerns with rubbing or them being too large? Thanks.

I believe that without spacers, the tire will rub the control arm.

Some shops won’t do it, they say the rim is too narrow which is BS

Stick your hand over the top of your current tire and see/feel the clearance with that upper ball joint/control arm as its not much and now you know.
Tire flex could eat a wider tire and if you run lower pressures you will have problems.

Those tires will work on your stock rims. They shouldn't rub front or back in the wheel well. It will be close on the UCA. I went with 255/85 r 16's and they are still tight up there (but no rub anywhere else...)
