I was looking through the threads about bumpy rides on the freeway and all I found were with aftermarket parts. I have a stock 2018 TRD PRO and driving on the freeway vibrates my whole body. I was wondering if there was an adjustment to be made or if just kind of how it is. It's not the worst in the world but and long trip would be uncomfortable with the constant giggling of my body and voice.

    Video below for example:

Taking some air out of your tires may help, they’re often max filled from factory and the dealer when new.

Which brand tires are they? The tire gurus in here will suggest a good PSI.

I’ve recently put on Cooper Discoverer AT3 and have them at 32psi much less than the 40psi the shop wanted to do. They ride smooth

Never run max tire pressure as printed on the side of the tire! On the door jam is the recommended psi, use that!

If you post the tire brand and size you’ll get some recommendations.

Tires and suspension are the most popular topics and mods here.

I think it should be 29 or 30 psi. If you're close to 40, that'll make a difference.

I run nitrogen setting them at 29 cold and they get to about 30 and maybe 31. The nitrogen machine they used to fill my tires pressure gauge and my dash guage read the same. I run 265/70/27 SL Toyo open country at2. The nitrogen doesn't fluctuate like regular air does when its cold or hot. Been using nitrogen for years in my vehicles. When I first got my Tacoma and the tires were set at 30 cold, on a real hot day I would see them up to 38 lbs. At that pressure it rode like crap, now new lift and tires rides amazing!!!!

I’m running 30 - 31 in mine and it’s a smooth ride at that pressure.
