Took my truck in for it's 20K service yesterday, and the service advisor says I'm down to 4/32ths and should start thinking about new tires in the near future. So basically, my tires are going to last 25K ish miles or about 18 months since I bought the truck. I'm kind of disappointed ... 80% high way miles.

How fast are your tires wearing, and how long do you think they'll last?

Weird. Not sure your driving habit on those highways, but I have 15k on my stock wranglers and they are barely worn though I forget the tread depth offhand. And I've heated these up quite a bit driving up and down mountains, taking corners pretty fast (for a truck), to the point of smelling rubber when I pull over many times. My driving style (with weekend mountain adventures) has always been hard on tires but I've been quite impressed that I have 15k on these with very little wear. So much so that while I love the more aggressive look and tread of other tires, I will probably replace these with the exact same thing to preserve ride quality and road noise. I don't do hardcore wheeling, mostly mild stuff like forest roads and the occasional rocky trail with some shallow stream crossings. I've only taken it into relatively deep, muddy situations a couple of times and these stock tires performed really well in all situations so long as I was using my features properly (MTS, 4lo, rear locker, etc.,) for the terrain.

Based on my experience thus far I'd expect to get at least 45k out of these (some people have already gotten more from what i've read on the forums...)

I basically would echo this exact post. I have 12k miles on mine with probably over 300 off road miles on Nevada desert rock and dirt so a majority of my miles have been on pavement. The tires have been amazing on all surfaces. They have performed great on the pavement with very little road noise and great wet traction. They have been amazing in the snow. Where they have impressed me the most is with their durability over sharp desert shale and rocks. For a P rated tire this has blown me away. I have been waiting for these to fail so I have a reason to replace....that has not been the case. In fact just like bshammer I am considering now replacing these with the exact same tire when these wear out they have been that good. The only issue I have with these tires is in some nasty desert clay type mud they had a real problem with self cleaning but short of a mud tire not sure what tire would be great.

I feel the same way. I have 19k on mine and I've been pleased with how little they have worn. I think they are really good for a stock tire and have been pleased with them.

Barring something drastic happening I would expect around 50k.

Uhhhh that can't be right, something is going on. The tires I definitely have no complaint about on the truck and I'm getting rid of my truck so that tells you something. I'm at 21k miles and they still have plenty of tread left. They don't seem to have worn very much at all.

I got new tires at 19k due to several flats. Final straw was a rock gash that was unrepairable so I got something beefier.
I disagree with posts above. Although they handled great, they just aren't very durable all-terrain tires. Had at least 2-3 flats from rocks and 2 more from screws/nails.
Really liking the LT Cooper Discoverer AT3s with C load rating.

A lot has to do with driving habits, road conditions, type of roads (smooth or course asphalt or concrete) in your area, hard cornering habits etc.

I've taken mine off road on numerous occasions to play on trails and in the Ga clay and they served fairly well. Only have about 4500mi on them so far though. Actually had a rear pop last night, took it in today and they had to special order the tire but once it was picked up and put on it wasn't a huge deal. For stock tires they aren't too bad. Would've been a good excuse to get more aggressive tires but I'm kinda happy too because I was able to get a Mil discount and employee discount because my GFs mom works for our local dealer.

7500 miles on mine, 250 of which have been hard, rocky roads in the Colorado mountains, virtually no wear. I will not keep them until they are dead because i want to lift but ill probably double the miles on them before then.

Yeah I think he said something along the lines of how he thought they'd suck ass, yet can't kill them and do pretty great in some rough terrain for stocks.

For those of you suggesting "virtually no wear" are you actually measuring treadwear or just going off looks?

I sold mine at around 7k miles and they were down to 9/32nds. That's not particularly great wear from my perspective considering stock was 12/32nds. If it had even wear and with 3/32nds being the lowest before I'd replace them, I'd have been lucky to get 25k miles out of them.

Right on schedule. Expect a few more flats before you hit 20k. Was it a screw/nail?

Do you drive on SoCal freeways or LA roads? Their guaranteed to turn you 60k mile tires into playdough.

Sounds like you have a bad set. I have nothing but the opposite experience of you. Tires have done amazing in all the sharp rock covered trails I have put them on here in Nevada time and time again. From slow rock crawling to fast desert running they have performed beyond my expectations.

Averaging this out I imagine the truth on these tires lies somewhere in between our experiences.
