Picked up a new take out stock locker for dissecting. Disassembly was fairly easy. It was designed by Tochigi Fuji Sangyo Japan, parent company is GKN Driveline. Various versions are used by Nissan in the Titan Dana 44 and AAM 250/9.8", Jeep in the Dana 44 JL Rubicon Wrangler, and probably several others. Shared parts are unknown.

    Any questions? Photos? Measurements?

    None.
So, with a flick of a switch the dif. lock coil energizes, then what? I’m thinking the lock plunger moves back and forth, but don’t see a spring to move it back to unlocked. Sorry for the newb question, just curious.

It uses a wave spring for unlocking, bottom row, second item from the left.
