    Hello everyone,
I'm new to this and I'm not sure if has been asked already. I have 2017 TRD Off Road with the key less entry and I have an weird issue.

If my truck is locked and I walk up to the driver's side door without unlocking the door within 30 seconds the alarm goes off.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Only when I reach inside to unlock the door through an open window.
If it's locked, the door shouldn't open from the outside...
I'm assuming that you don't have the smart key system on your handle?

I'm a new Taco owner and not familiar with the oem keyfob features but it sounds like a remote keyfob panic button feature although that remote feature can work from a farther distance away.

Does it act that way using the other keyfob? I presume it would set the alarm off too but just to rule out the keyfob.
    I digress, lol

So just standing next to your locked truck for 30 seconds with the fob in hand sets off the alarm? That's a new one. Granted I once kept my fob in the truck, unlocked, windows up and after some time it locked itself and wouldn't unlock until I got the spare fob and unlocked it, so I guess this could be plausible
