Hey I am just curious at the different styles of Antenna looks that everyone has. I am considering changing mine out and was wandering what everyone else had. Post the pics!

I've got a custom S2K antenna...reception is better then stock antenna plus it doesn't blow 1/2' back when driving at high speeds...

sure but it will have to wait until I am done with work. I get off in 1 hour or so...

what I did is take the stock antenna take the plug out that screw into the receiver. from there I take apart the S2K. I then use the plug I pulled out of the stock antenna and insert that into the S2K also using epoxy to hold the plug in place. once that has dried I use a small rubber bushing you can get from lowes or home depot...that way the antenna sits flush to the receiver (where you screw the antenna in)...

but I will get your better pics that way you can have a better idea of what i'm saying...

I'm gonna do this. But maybe with a corolla antenna since I have one laying around.

    My tC antenna.....

Not a direct fit, you have to fab it a bit, but the reception is just as good if not better than stock, plus it sits under the roofline so in my case I don't hit the roof of my garange with the old stock whip.

Don't have any better pics at the moment, this first one makes it look quite taller than it is.

That S2000 antenna mod looks great. Just got my new 2010 DC a week or so ago, and was bummed when I pulled into the garage for the first time and the antenna was hitting the door frame and the bottom edge of the last door panel. The antenna looks to be about 2" too high, so I'm going to try cutting it down slightly first, and if that doesn't go so well reception & looks wise, then I'll either go with a shorter one from antennax.com or try the S2000 one.
