Probably a dumb question but I couldn't find anything on it. I've found a Backflip G2 cover for my tacoma on facebook marketplace. I currently have the stock Toyota fold up cover that has a broken tab so its no longer even close to water resistant. Would the G2 fit without any work or does it use something totally different and would be too much hassle?

I just installed a BAKFlip MX4 ... it uses the original bedrail screw locations and relocates the bed rails just below that with special brackets. I believe the OEM has different bed caps so I don’t think it’s a particularly good/easy swap.

Were you able to install with the factory bed rails for the OEM cover?
