stock bumper under tube bumper

    So the other day I was walking around and I saw this sweet idea, someone trimmed their stock bumper to cover up the stuff that its suppose to and also to keep the turn signals but also to fit under the tube bumper, so im wondering if any has done this and could give some steps how to do it.

    so the stock bumper was there and covered like the fender brackets and stuff like that but the tube bumper was mounted over the stock

    so the top was shaved right above the turn signals and the bottom was also shaved around the license plate

    You sure you didn't see one of those prerunner bars? Like this? Completely different animal than a tube bumper. I don't think you'd be able to keep anything stock bumper related with a tube bumper installed.

    no it wasnt one of those, the stock one was shaved to fit under the tube

    Weird. I'm interested to see this myself then, never heard anything like it. Hopefully someones got some insight.

    I have no idea why anyone would do something like that.

    Seems like quite a bit of work because the stock bumper would also need to have holes cut that the Tube bumper could be bolted fast .

    Just building the brackets would be interesting .

    Neat things one sees when you can`t get a picture
