Are the CBI and Mobtown mounted at the same height? The CBI mentions "high clearance" but they look similar. Is it worth going Mobtown for the added tow points?

Hey a heads up just out of safety concern, the welded hoop on the drivers side is not a recovery point but a tiedown for shipping the vehicle. Not to say I haven't used it a dozen times :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:, but that isn't it's intended purpose/ strength. So good for cutting it off! :amen:

On my truck, it's now a couple of painted-over stumps, but that's good to know.

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.
Took an afternoon and several beers. More tedious than difficult.
Take the front of the truck apart and get rid of the stock bumper.

Replace with the winch bumper and put it back together

Was it necessary to remove the whole bumper? Or did it just make it easier?

You have to take all the plastic off of the front. Again, no big deal, just have to be careful with the clips. Yes. The winch mount/bumper will replace the stock aluminum bumper and crush cans.
