Stock exhaust diameter size?

    I have 2002 tacoma (prerunner if that makes a difference).
    Im ordering flowmaster 10s. And im getting mixed responses people saying 2.25" and 2.5"? Anyone 100% sure what the stock exhaust size is?

    Got the gas mileage down to 13mpg! Modification complete
    It would help if you tell people what engine you have.

    I just unbolted before the cats. It measures 2.25" exactly

    Cool that will help people that have that question in the future...mine a 4 cyl...so I am no help at all

    So on my 6 cylinder can I bolt 3in were exhaust connect to manifold... It looks like 3 into 2.5 caty

    that being said, it might be possible to measure with cheap harbor freight calipers

    I believe V6 is common to have a somewhat smaller pipes up front that underneath the truck both merge into a larger single section, at least 4.0 which I’ve heard might be stock 2” pipes into one 3”. Not sure about 5VZFE.
