Let's be honest even if the put Duratracs, BFG KO or Wild Peaks on these trucks stock people would be saying they want something different just because the instaham points aren't rolling in.

Chevy started putting Duratracs on their trucks years ago, I'm guessing it was the Z71.

I'd assume Toyota's tire choice is all about mpg claims.

Test drove a Gladiator yesterday. You’ll pay, but they come pretty well equipped also.

That’s not me in the pics by the way. Some nice folks were already there ahead of me.

Could you imagine the customer complaints if the Tacoma came with noisy tires from the factory.

    The idiots would, yes...

The OR’s and Pros should come equipped with decent off road tires. The others are fine as is.

Nice lease vehicle, don't think I'd buy one but I know the point is the km3s.

Coincidentally I just got back from having my RF tire patched due to a puncture. These are the OEM Kevlar tires. 1,000 miles.

Pulled mine off after my first trip. Decent in snow, gravel, dirt, and rocks. Terrible in mud. Do not clean out in the thick clay like mud we get at all, but it nasty stuff.

I've had 3 or 4 punctures all in the tread area and plugged successfully.

I liked it. Personally I think they are overpriced though. I’ve already shared my thoughts on it. Nice as they are I don’t trust them like I do my taco.

I'm waiting for the Jeep Implosion, it will be an all electric vehicle built on the Pacifica platform and share most of it's styling cues with the current Wrangler.

Everything you post I read with slight skepticism because of you profile picture.

Can’t tell if trolling or just making a valid point. The pic really throws me

I don't hate these OEM tires but will surely go a different tire along with up size when I replace them. I just can't bring myself to jettison these while they still have miles on them and would never be recouped trying to sell as a used tire.

I used the stock tires on two off road trips and had no puncture or wear issues. In fact I was literally jamming stuff against the sidewall our in the desert to get the truck out of the sand when it was buried up to the wheel arch. Other than sanding the clear coat off the wheel there was no damage at all to the tire. It was also not the tires fault I got buried it was all getting high centered on some rocks.

Both times they were aired down to 20 psi as well and there did not appear to be any excess wear.

I did just replace the stock Goodyear’s with a set of Discoverer ST Maxx but the decision was based primarily on tire height and not performance.

These tires seem really good to me. Lots of off-road miles on mine never got a flat I have 35k on mine and can prob go another 10k. Now the long trail T/A’s that came stock on my frontier where bad. Those tires would see dirt and get a puncture.

I had to take them off, they were awful in snow and the girls at Forever21 thought they were cute
