I'm in the process of having to replace my second aforementioned tire which came on my new 2017 Tacoma within the first 10k miles. Neither the first tire (sidewall tear) or second (un-repairable double puncture) occurred off-road, on a job-site or farm etc. Normal driving conditions. Do I just have bad luck or do these tires blow?

I wasn't yet planning on improving on my truck, but I believe this has forced my hand.

At this point, I'm thinking of going to the General Grabber AT2's 265/75 R16 E rated tire. I'm planning on purchasing it through Discount Tire and am planning on purchasing the $21 per tire certificate to cover the set for 3 years.

If anyone has input on any of the above, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

A lot of people have had issues with them from what I have seen - lots of punctures.

The GG AT2's are great, I had them on my old truck in load range C. My only complaint was that wet pavement traction was not amazing, but it wasn't terrible either. I'd buy them again.
