I ran those exact tires on a jeep Cherokee and they were good in snow, but the lack of siping in the big self cleaning lugs did affect snow traction. Some Firestone store will cut into the larger lugs for better grip on ice and snow. It's how Blizzacks work so well in snow.

Not wheeling yet, I got corn fields west of Chicago, but there are OR parks near me. I do agree that they do look too small for being a pro model in those wheel wells, but if they perform, I dont care what they look like.. ok, well maybe a little. I'm afraid to ask what M/S tire is best for these trucks. I just downsized from a F150 Lariat

I put Duratrac's on my TRDOR when I bought it in September of 2016. I've had them on several vehicles and have always liked them because of how they perform in the snow. I found myself doing a lot more highway driving then expected and after about 20-25K miles they started getting really loud, the dealer said they were cupping. I just replaced them with Wrangler Kevlar and I'm really surprised with how much quieter and better handling on the road the truck is. I guess I'll see this winter how they are in the snow. By the way, I'm northwest of Chicago.

Well we've shared some blood in the same mud (or snow, onto speak) I'm gonna give the stockers a chance this winter, but will switch out in a second if they can't hold thier salt

I would talk to your local Discount Tire. They usually sell enough brands, including the Goodyear Adventures, to know what works best in your region. For example, lots of people seem to like the KO2. But in eastern WA they just don’t seem to perform as well so they tend to recommend other tires. It’s all about your local conditions.

I had KO2s on my f150. Of course I went taller and wider. By doing that, I floated on top of the deeper stuff, causing some issues. Narrow IS the way to go in sno . I know, but wider looks soooo much better ;)

They do pretty good in the snow when new, ice not so much. I ran them for about 25,000 miles. I upgraded to the duratracs recently but have yet to run them in the winter.
