Stock intake with flared fenders?

    For the mean time i need a solution for the gapping hole in my fender to prevent sucking up debre and worst water. Has anyone found a quik fix ? I hVent chosen an intake yet. Ya. Soo if anyone can help thad be dope! Again this is a mod need for a stock intake

    6" body lift, LEDs errwhere, Jesus mural on the hood
    Remove the part sticking into the fender area and cover the hole. You'll suck a bit more warm engine air, but at least you won't be sucking in mud/dirt.

    i ran into this issue on my old 2011 long travel truck, i would look into one of those filters you see on the front of turbos on import cars or SOMETHING to keep it covered. went to Pismo and got the truck stuck, and during the process of getting out ( lots of tire spin ) i filled the whole intake tube with sand. had to end up removing the intake from the truck to dump out about 10 pounds of sand. luckily i had a new filter in the truck

    I just cut it out! Got my k&n in today . Putting that on but i feel like i still need close up this hole . Guna ask my boy at vegas desert fab to weld it up while hes doing my bumper
