2003 ExtraCab TRD 4WD M/T 3.4L, no mods, as stock a I can afford to make it. :-\

So I recently replaced LCA's, ball joints and rack bushings and have the ratty old bump stops from the old LCA's. I always feel dirty putting an old part back in when replacing new ones, new OEM's run around $37 for front stops, $26 for rears. I can't justify over another hundred bucks for bump stops, but can't find any compatible ones (that aren't off the charts budget wise.) I've scrubbed the forums here, been searching around, the only ones I find don't "look" like they'd fit, has anyone got a source for aftermarket bump stops that won't break the bank?

Looking best is Dorman BB741006PR fronts, Dorman 523093 rears, fronts appear to be sold out everywhere. My concern with the "universal" ones is the thread may not fit correctly (not seeing specs on the ES stops.)

    4 run, 2 don't
The factory bump stops suck anyway; if your current set aren't broken then just put them back on.

Real upgrade would be Durobump stops, but they're not in the price range you'd like them to be.

They're worth more than their asking price, if you actually use them that is.

Unless the old bump stops are cracked from age, there's no reason they can't be cleaned up and reused; just did that last weekend with my 2003. New LCAs, same bump stops.

    .

Yeah the durobumps are off the hook price wise. Looks like yours has a lift, wouldn't those be too tall for a stock setup?
