Yes I'm still happy with them. The only negative I can say is that the U-bolts I got from them are completely covered in surface rust, but that really doesn't matter. I think it happened going through the snow in Tahoe on our way to Death Valley. Probably doesn't help that I never wash the truck lol

I was trying to find a leaf spring replacement write up & skimmed through this post. Thought I'd add another to the mix. ATS out of PA. I could not find anything about them on here & it was suggested I try the PA forum. Sure enough a couple of guys piped in & were/are very happy with the springs, service, etc. Mine are supposed to be going in today & I plan on starting a review on TW. The springs they sell are made by Stanerd or something like that, out of Canada. They make their own shackles, ubolts....

You know what would be nice? If someone made an actual quality set of oem height replacement leaf packs. Those cheap leaf packs all seem to lift it like 5 inches and if lucky it settles to 3 inches and still rides so hard you need a seperate kidney belt

Maybe I just got lucky Then I know how bad a bigger truck rides empty

I think my General Springs are just fine but I had them about 10 years now

Now I can't say from experience, but it seems that General Springs have been the go to for OEM replacements.

I've installed a pair on a members truck and recently when I asked how he's liking them, he's had nothing but positive things to say.

We'll see how long they hold up.

History here in forum is where I got those complaints from. Didn't it lift his taco? How much it end up lifting it?
I'll pass on the general springs unless something has changed. I'm definitely open to some new info on the general springs if they changed something up. It looks like they're a decent value replacement leaf pack. They should 'hold up' just fine I imagine. If I need weight carrying ability then I might consider them.:D
Good news is I'm not in dire straits, I'm just getting ready for when I do need to do them. It would be ridiculous to order a custom leaf pack for non custom needs. A similar to OEM basic leaf pack that doesn't lift. I'd prefer flatter leaf pack like oem as well just because they ride a lot better. There's a reason they look flatter even when new. I'm rambling, I'll shut up.:D
I definitely appreciate the input though as I'm far from decided on the rear leaf packs

Well shit son, you finally got an avatar

So to answer your question, yes it did lift his vehicle. Sucks I didn't get a before shot but it didn't lift the vehicle any more than stock height.

The owners leaf pack was tired out and frowning, which would make any truck for that matter, sag and sit below stock height.

And naturally, being a new leaf pack, will need a few thousand miles to flatten out just like a basic OEM leaf pack.

The owner had recently installed new OEM suspension up front

I'd never buy them, but not because I wouldn't trust them, but because I need that lift for those mall crawler points, broverland fist bumps, and #IG followers for when I post my truck in front of the green scre...er uh I mean while "off road" :anonymous:

@806Taco how are your General Spring HDs? I'm trying to decide between standard duty and heavy duty, and I'm currently going between the Dayton brand HDs for $230 from Rock Auto or General Spring HDs for $160 as the only option I have available locally in Hawaii is the Dorman brand for $220 per side from Oreillys or $700 per side from the stealer ship. Thank you for any advice.
