I got a flat last night and I'm changing the tire for the spare tire right now. This might be a dumb question but i was just wondering if its ok to use the stock lug nuts on the spare tire? looks kind of weird because once its torqued down there will be almost 1/2" gap between the nuts and the rim. Its a 2013 off road

There is no problem with that ;) the tip of the stock nut is made to fit on the spare. I rolled mine a few weeks and had no issue

Yes you are fine as long as they are tight. The stock nuts are multiuse type nuts.

They aren't meant to be used for an extended length of time, but the will work fine for a day or two until you can swap back on your regular wheel and tire
