I have my unit almost apart so I can paint the face plate black but but am having problems pulling out the AM FM1 Disc Scan buttons along with the Seek and Text buttons. Do they just pull out? If so, does it take some force? I thought about taping them off but it may turn out like crap if I tape it wrong.

If I paint over the buttons then they won't illuminate at night or be able to read. Nice sig by the way, haha

I figured it all out. Some buttons pop out from the front side and other from the back side. Just a matter of pinching the backside of the buttons and either push them or pull them out
