    Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of reinstalling my stock 6-disk changer in my 2010 Tacoma. One problem.....the buttons are limp! They just flop around in the face of the radio and don't seem to be connected to anything. (seek, 1, 2, 3, etc...)

The on/off volume and tune knobs work but the actual buttons don't seem to be connected to anything. I didn't remove the stock radio on this truck so I'm not sure if someone screwed something up during the initial uninstall. Anyone else have this issue?

Take it back out ... I know, that sucks ..... I am guessing that the "contact point" for the back of the buttons.

I remember when I took mine apart to paint the face, the buttons had little posts in the middle. These "push" in whatever function they are assigned on the motherboard.

When I got mine "back together" the FIRST time I experienced the same, I had not put it back in the dash but knew by the "feel" that they were loose and not going to work.

Had that ah-ha moment when I lookled at the bench and saw some "extra" parts .... good luck.
