I got the truck with the oem leafs and a 4.5inch block in the rear. Felt weird to me when going over bumps so I bought the rough country 3.5 leaf springs and a 2” block. These leaf springs have been clicking and creaking like crazy so going to put the stock leafs back on but noticed what looks like someone added a smaller leaf in the middle of the pack. What would be the reason for this? And is anyone else’s stock leaf pack like that? Thank you

    That's a 1"to "2 lift add a leaf.

    Yep, you have an add-a-leaf.

Squeaking/creaking leaves can be eliminated by simply using your truck offroad once in awhile (in a way, that's your truck telling you "So you modified me... now use me!!!").

That has been my own experience anyway... (dust that gets in between the leaves apparently prevents them sticking and creaking). Everyone talks about various noisy leaf packs (Icon RXT, Dakar, etc.), but almost as soon as I put a bunch of miles on a dusty dirt road, my RXTs fell silent (I had same thing happen with Skyjacker leafs on another vehicle as well).
