I just purchased a 2021 Cement TRD Off Road 4x4 and it came with the rock sliders. I'm more keen on the OEM Predators and am looking for a pair locally. I don't want to assume the they are interchangeable, although I suspect they are, but could someone kindly provide some clarification? Thanks in advance.

I do not believe they have a "stock" rock slider, but the OEM steps should mount without issue.

Sliders are quite a nice mod to have since they are much stronger than steps. If you want steps, you might check with a local welder / fabricator. They could weld on steps or even better, get you set up with some bolt-on steps. This way, you keep the stronger option while getting the convenience?

    Just a thought.

One other thing to consider. Are the sliders that you have welded on to the frame or bolted on. If welded on, you might just want to stick with them regardless?

I think pics of what you have could be useful. I bought a ‘19 DCSB OR 4x4 new and it came with running boards that may appear to be at first glance rock sliders, but I can assure you they are not. The key will be if they mount to the cab itself or the actual frame of the truck.

There are a few markets that offer a factory slider that bolts to the frame. Its new for 2021.

OP, If this is the case, keep the sliders and forget about the steps. Unless you’ll never go Offroad, then sell them on here and buy the steps you want.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was said that those TrailRails bolt to the same locations on the body of the cab as the other step accessories?

They are not available in my region.

Good point. They are indeed mounting to the cab which leads me to believe that the two are interchangeable. They're listed as 'Trail Rail' on the sticker sheet. The predator steps just afford our kiddos a little bit easier access to the truck. Thanks!

OP where are you located? Have some gently barely used predators that I would be interested in working a deal if you’re relatively close.

I'm in Round Rock, TX, but I have a local guy that's supposed to come over today and make a swap. If for whatever reason it doesn't work out, I'll let you know. Thanks!
