Are there stock height suspension upgrades?

Looking for OME shocks mostly. I'm going stock ride height on my rig with some rear Firestone airbags for now. I just bought new 265/75/16 Duratracs today. Air bag springs for rear loading are next. No lift upgrade until these tires go, so I'm looking for good shocks. I'm just looking for better ride when loaded and love OME shocks. Can I put one of their shocks in my stock strut assembly up front?

I wouldn't, they are not designed to be run that way.

You wouldn't what? Put a new shock in? I don't follow, but maybe I new to IFS is all, I don't follow your statement.

sorry. I meant I wouldn't use the OME shocks on stock coils. If you simply want a better replacement shock for stock height, go with the bilstein 5100's.

Rear Leaf spring TSB, Bilstein 5100's all around w/ front set at 1.75", 265/75R/16 Mickey Thompson Baja STZ's, Trailer hitch w/custom wiring, AFE drop in dry filter, Rear Diff breather mod, Debadged truck, customized stock TRD wheel center caps, added factory fog lights, bed mat, door sills, tinted windows
X2 on the Bilstein 5100"s- great upgrade and you can lift the front down the road if you want with these shocks. :D

Thanks for the info. Firestone Ride Rite kit showed up yesterday, model 2407. Nice quality stuff, I'm impressed. Installation should take place tomorrow. I'll look into the Bilstein 5100s, thanks.
