Anyone know if there's a company that makes lift coils for our rides with the stock spring rate? I've been riding on Eibach coils and 5100s for about a year and while the ride isn't too bad it's pretty terrible on shitty roads. Not sure I wanna drop the coin on performance Coilovers just yet. So I'm wondering if there's other options for us aside from the usual 600# coils?

I am hoping the 5100's are set to 0.
I'm not sure if there is anything in particular about the Eibachs that would make them ride poorly.
I should have for sale soon OME 883X if that interests you. They're advertised to make 2" lift. It may interest you. It may not. It depends on what your goals are.

Why not pick something like OME? Non armor variant is like 590lbs.
I noticed an improvement in ride quality versus stock.
There is also many coils to pick from in similar category besides just Eibach, unless someone else re-paints them.
    -OME
    -Dobinsons
    -Toytec
and any other company I am missing.

I don't think a coil will improve ride quality dramatically. Supposedly they're all the same or similar and that technology is put into dampers.
The only way to achieve a heavenly ride is probably going to be with performance shocks, in any shape or form.
Whether that be coilovers, longer travel height versions, internal bypass, external bypass, or multiple shocks.
As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for".
A $5k suspension will ride better than a $500 one.
Thankfully, at least these high end companies even offer products that can fit this truck to begin with.
Many other vehicles don't have this support in the way of professional racing quality parts being available/offered for their platform.
Some vehicles only have fart cans

which tells you that hey, sure it can be lifted. Sure ride can improve a bit. If spending less.
And the opportunity will remain in the future, to improve those things even further, if budget one day allows.
(ie ADS, RadFlo, King, Icon, Fox, etc.)

I imagine OME is linear rate. Stock TRD Sport springs are progressive (gets stiffer as it compresses) while TRD OR is linear (same stiffness throughout).
Something about the OR needing to flex off road and soak up bumps better, versus a tall sitting pickup truck TRD Sport somehow supposed to be a Nissan 350Z kept on streets.

I see I'll probably try the ome 883s if they don't seem more compliant I'll just end up going for some performance coilovers.

What's the rear setup? A rear setup will affect overall ride quality too. Just like the front, a cheap aal would be a much stiffer ride than a whole leaf pack lift. You can't beat the ride quality and performance of front COs and rear leaf pack lift combo.

I’m betting it’s the digressive valving of the 5100s you’re not liking. A 600lb spring is a 600lb spring unless you start looking at variable rate springs but that’s a whole other discussion.

If you're a prerunner and want stock like handling why not ditch the 5100s and eibach springs for a spindle lift that can sun the stock spring and shock?

Might be worth looking at your tire choice and air pressure too...I assume you're not running E rated tires at 40+ psi but it wouldn't be a first for someone to complain about their suspension here while driving around on bricks.

Add a leaf and block lol I'm sure that contributes to it too but the it feels worse in the front so I figured I'd work from front to back.

Not sure what variable rate springs are but I'm guessing that's my answer that they're not for me :anonymous:

I have spindles already but wanted more of a 6 inch lift so I added the coils and 5100s. Which gave me about an additional 3 inches in the beginning I'm guessing they've settled by now. Haven't really measured since then. My tires are at 30 psi and they're c load not e load so i think I'm good there. Lol
