I have been searching around on the site and haven't found a clear answer. I have a 22 Trail Edition which just an SR5 with a 1 inch lift in front and a .5 inch lift in the back. I am wanting to put a 1 inch lift block in the back to regain some rake as we will be adding a bed rach and RTT in the next year. Will the stock rear shock be able to handle the additional 1 inch over a typical SR5? I am wanting to upgrade to better shocks in the future but that won't be for several years.

The shocks will be fine the leaf springs won't. Either get a progressive aal or new leafs for the desired lifts and weight you're going to carry.

The tent won't be on except for trips where we are planning on using it. I was mainly looking at the block as it was more cost effective than jumping straight to a new leaf pack. I was just wanting to avoid the squatted look when a few hundred pounds get added to the bed. Im definitely wanting to upgrade to a 3/2 lift with a new leaf pack a few years down the line.
