Plan is to lift the truck (11' reg cab 5 speed 4x4) on a budget, without resorting to a spacer lift, and without ordering new wheels. Ordered the lift today, pieced together from different places to get the best black friday deals. I got Bilstein 5100s front and rear, i will be using stock coils for the front but the struts will be at max lift. The rear is a ToyTec AAL with a u bolt flip kit. I want to keep the stock steel wheels with this lift and only trimming id like to do is the mudflaps at most, would even like to keep those if possible. Lets say i dont want to use SpiderTrax, what diameter tire can i expect to clear at full flex in any situation? I have been looking into this on the forum to see what guys run with stock wheels but most seem to be alloys and im not sure if that offset is the same as the steel wheels i have. Im sorry if this has been asked here before, i just couldnt find a definitive answer. TIA

Those 16s? You'll be fine with 265/75r16 and a slight potential of losing front mud flaps, or 265/70r16 and be totally fine. That's the OEM size on the TRD off roads.

Maxing out the 5100s on a reg cab will yield over 4" of lift. I wouldn't suggest it. You'll get 3" on the second highest setting and the truck will still drive like shit. Pony up for UCAs.

As far as tires, I run 255/85/16 on stock steel wheels. No spacers, they would cause problems. I like my tires in the wheel well. There's more room for them to travel that way.
