Jumping in here with a follow-up question. I'm looking at likely needing to replace the original leaf springs on my '01 double-cab TRD 4WD, mostly stock taco. I'm about to put on some 4600 model Bilstein shocks as well. What brand and/or specs leafs do you recommend that I replace them with? Truck is not lifted, nor do I plan on lifting it. But I will be hauling stuff like landscaping gravel, dirt bikes, lumber, and maybe pulling a small camper trailer. I'd prefer to not raise the rear any more than I have to with the new leafs. Any specific recommendations? Thanks!

on an sr5 1st gen that is all original and needs some love.... i would look into getting some second gen off road billies (i bet you can find them for pennies if not free)

Ive seen some people do this and IIRC you will gain a small lift from original and improves ride quality.

that and a cheap add a leaf or a cheap used leaf pack and call it a day. I bet you can get this all done for under 100 budget.
