Is there a market out there for stock suspension? Just installed an Icon lift and suspension and don’t know what to do with the stock.

    Thanks.

Kind of and depends on how many miles are on it. Selling your old stock suspension is like selling your old underwear.

Yeah I wouldn’t buy that. It’d have to be free and I’d have to be in an emergency situation.

For me, it has to have <500 miles and look brand spanking new otherwise it’s not worth the risk or trouble.

Not many people buy stock unless trading the vehicle and want to part out to reduce their overall diminished value as parts and pieces. This platform begs people to upgrade their suspension and not many people ever look back after doing so.

I buy stock suspension, I have 2 stock height 3rd gens and buying stock parts off this forum has been a big money saver. I probably wouldn't pay much more then $100 for yours with 20k on them since you can find them all day with less then 10k for $200ish.

Anyways, yes there is a market for stock take offs since the vast majority of tacoma owners have stock trucks

I mean if you're going through the trouble of changing out the suspension, most people are going to want brandy new stuff going in unless they're rebuildable like Fox's

Just keep it. It doesn’t take up very much room and you might wanna return it to stock someday. Not very many people are interested in that stuff and the ones that are want to cherry pick what you have or want it all for nothing.

Someone will want to return their Tacoma back to the stock suspension in case their lease is up or something.

Yes, but people will want it, and it's better than going to a land fill. I know when my suspension goes I'd consider just replacing it with stock for cheap rather than an upgrade.
