Update: needed to remove the front mudflaps due to rubbing in turns. Drove 600 miles yesterday and they are not loud but not as quiet as stock. I had an alignment done and the truck feels rock solid.

Had to go into our local office and replace some network equipment, it was in the low 20s this morning and therefore tire pressures dropped. 28psi was nice and smooth on the short commute in, if inefficient lol.

Question guys, does the Toyota TRD wheel have the same offset compared to the Taco OEM wheel. I tried searching but couldn't find the info.

The stock or wheels are about a +25 and the factory 4 runner trd pro wheels are +4 so they stick out a little more. I have imitation 4runner pro wheels that are +5 so 1mm less poke and this is where they sit.

    Looks GREAT!
I'm looking to get these exact wheels with either 265/70R17's or 275's. I've got a 2"/1" lift on the truck now and i'm wondering if I can get away with the 275's without rubbing because of the lift. I've read people have had success with the 275's with a lift and those exact wheels, due to the width and the offset of that particular wheel.

I don’t get how some of y’all are rubbing on stock suspension and Sema wheels. I couldn’t get mine to rub at all. Even when I went with with +0mm offset I can’t get it to rub easily

which tires did you go with?
I think if you do a more precise measurement- some manufacturers run bigger or smaller. (Youtube research)

    My Nitto Recons rubbed.

Do you have mud flaps? They rub if you have mud flaps, and don't if you don't.

Yeah that explains it. It's a very minor rub with flaps, but enough to annoy me into first downsizing my tires and then trading rims. I went flapless for a bit but I drive on a lot of jobsites so I like to have the protection of the flaps.

Remove your mud flaps and it should be fine. You will pretty much guaranteed rub on turns with bumps or braking with 265/70 or larger on those rims. 275/70 is both wider and slightly taller so it will be worse than 265/70. No flaps fixes it.

Or you can just let it rub, but it gets annoying if that sort of thing bothers you.

Full trd pro suspension. Toytec progressive add-a-leaf pack (with overload in). Sema trd 4runner rims. 285 70 17 ridge grapplers. Satoshi grill.
How do you like those tires

Shoot, I never replied. I should have clarified. My tires were barely rubbing on the factory mud flaps. It would only rub if I took an angle and hit a curb, etc.

They are solid! Not noisy. I lost some fuel efficiency.
