Stock tint on back windows???

anyone know the tint percentage on the back windows... I want to get my front windows tinted but I want to match the back obviously... appreciate the help...

Approximately 32% is what my tint guy said. I just went 15% all round.

 

If you go to a halfway decent tint shop they should be able to match the rear to the front. Don't hold back though, limo tint all the way or bust.

 

Just be aware of the laws where you live. I've been pulled over in my previous vehicle for having too much tint on the front windows...

I have 30% on my front windows and it matches the rear pretty well.

 

I think I have 20% on my front windows and it's matched with the back

 

Tint shop I went to measured it at 23%.

Anything between 20 and 30 and it'll match pretty closely. I did 20 and it looks great

I have limo in the back .. here in cali the rear can be as dark as you want ..... the front i have limo also but its because ima bad ass .. i think legal in CA for.front.is well shit.i dont know... just get limo tint and find a cop make him your friend or her and have them.sign them off

 

Mine is not dark enough at all!! I think I am going to go with 15% on the front and 5% on the rear, I had 5% all around on my EcoDiesel and loved it during the day but caught myself rolling down the windows at night getting on the freeway.

Ny just passed a law that illegally tinted vehicles will not pass inspection

 

Luckily trucks & SUVs arent affected as much as cars. Under the new law a truck or SUV can still have the back side windows and the back window tinted as dark as you want. Just not the front ones.

For cars, they cant have any tint any more.

 

I had my front windows tinted the max legal 35% tint here in NV, and they match the rears really well.

 

Is window tint really such a menace to society? I understand the laws to a degree, but ALL tint being illegal seems ridiculous.
