Stock tire size

Biggest tire size I can fit without scrubbing on stock 2023 tacoma OR?
BFG?
Toyo?
Goodyear?

 

265/75/16 (for 16 gang) Not sure on the 17's I personally have BFG Trail Terrains (baby k02's) and I love them

 

265/70/17 for 17" wheels. If you go aftermarket, your offset will come in to play. stay 0 to +4 to clear everything well. -6,-12 will rub a bit on 265/70/17.

I want the Toyo Open Country MT but they only make it in a 265/75/16 and stock size is 265/70/16

 

im running 275/70R17 Ridge Grappler on a 17x8.5 -10 wheel.

There is slight rubbing when turning into my drive way or anything with a slight incline

 

Could I fit a 17 rim on stock height?

Yes you can. I am at Stock height .

It does when I turn up or down an incline but barely. Too hot in Texas right now to take out the heat gun to reshape the fender liner a little.

Stock came with 16, 17 and 18 wheels. The tires are what causes rubbing (and wheel offset once you start going big)

 

Aka best of both worlds

 

I went 17x8 with +5 offset and 265/70/17 Wildpeaks and no rubbing

 

Stay with 16" - It is the correct wheel size - for proper tacoma looks!

265/75/16 is the bees' knees! - Slightly larger, no hassles, no rubbing.

 

I have a stock 17 SR5 with 245/75R16 on oem aluminum rims and have a chance to pick up a nice set of 265/70R16 Wrangler territory's (tires only) from a friend. Any concerns mounting on my rims as they do look bigger?

 

They are a bit wider but I think they should fit. Your offset will come into play.
