I had KO2's on my Sierra 2500 and they were not great in the packed snow and ice through the Canadian Rockies and similar experience with my 4Runner with Nokian Rotiva's. Putting Nokian Hakkapeliitta's on the Tacoma this week. I ran the Hakk's on my old Golf TDI, and it did amazingly in all snow and ice conditions that I threw at it. After many years driving in lousy winter conditions through the Rockies and my experience with A/T tires in those conditions, I will not go without a good set of Winter tires again. The investment is worth every penny.

Yup I have an OR as well. Never actually used them in the snow but I have used similar Goodyears in the past and they got me through but it wasn't fun. Pulled my Kevlars off at 1800 miles and replaced them with Duratracs. Can't wait for a good winter storm to go have some fun in my new truck.
