    Only downside (and they all do it) is how hot it gets after a couple tires, it gets BLAZING hot. Cools down pretty quick though.

    If you plan on doing the beach thing again. Get a real shovel. Maxtrax's are expensive but when you need them you need them. A lot of places require a 12x12 inch board (or more), jack, some places require a fire extinguisher. The list goes on....

    What places are these that have equipment requirements?

    Here at Pismo you can drive whatever out on the beach and there's no requirements.
