Just wondering does the TRD models sit any higher than stock 4x4 models, if so how much??

yes, and it's a big difference. I don't know what the exact number is off the top of my head, but I was at the Houston Auto Show this weekend and they had a stock and a TRD model next to each other and I was astonished at how much different they looked because of their differences in height.

They are the same heights. The double cabs sit 70.1", the ext. cabs sit 69.9" tall. TRD or no TRD.

But your right though...there's a huge difference between a base Tacoma and a TRD...the base is car height lol!
