Anyone notice the stock tires on off-road models with the 2018's and differences? I seen some stock new on dealer lot Off Road tires on the 2018's much more knoby which I'd think cause much more road noise --- then recently started seeing other 2018 stock off roads tires with less knoby like the 2016, 2017 off roads.

Not sure, but did Toyota start offering two tire versions on the new TRD 2018 off road? Just curious

As far as I am aware, the Goodyear Kevlar is what comes on all the Off Road and Pro's. Maybe the Dealer swapped out tires or something,

The one in post above shows an example ---- looks to be a wrangler tire. I'd imagine that wrangler is noisey and wont have a good of a ride.

At least in the southeast, there is an option ($700 iirc) for stock size Goodyear Duratrac's. I have only seen this on TRD off road models. Look very noticeably meaner in person on my local lots vs. the Wrangler Adv Kevlar. I initially tried to find one with the Duratrac's but gave up and bought it without and then got 265/75-16 (+1 size) KO2's for about the same price as the Duratrac option and am selling my stock Goodyears to recoup some of the cost.

Yep, as stated those tires are Duratracs. I have them and can tell you they are noisier. Worse ride? Not really.

There is also an LT version of the Wrangler Adventures w/ Kevlar in Load E range. It’s heavier and knobier than the P rated one that comes on our trucks. I’ve never seen anyone with those on since there are better tires for the weight and price.

The TRD Pro comes with Goodyear Wrangler Adventure with Kevlar. I have never seen one with Duratrac's. Is that a new option for 18' like the TRD off road?

A long long time ago I had placed a request for a new vehicle from a dealer (not an order). I got a call that they had received 2 vehicles exactly like I had asked for.

I went to start papers and the salesman asked if I wanted to look at them and pick one, so he'd know what VIN and such to use. They were in the back lot unprepped.

I said sure. Spent a few minutes looking over both and told him 'I'll take that one'. He said that's fine, but I'm curious how you made your choice. I don't see any difference in them.

My answer was 'tires'. The one I picked had Michelins. The other had something of a lower quality.

Point is, while same models will all come with the same size tire, and 'maybe' the same style tire, they may not be the same brand. Unless the paperwork specifies something specific, odds are they're gonna be fitted from the low bidder that met Toyota's bidding specs.

The Tacoma Brochure even lists Goodyear Kevlars as equipped for the Pro.

Mine came with the Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires. They are way more quiet than they look. I had never heard of the Nitto brand but I'm pretty happy with them.
