Thanks for the update. Great news, I also have some spacers on order now. How about some pics of the new stance?

Here’s a couple of pictures. Hard to capture the true look of them. I am not a huge fan of excess wheel poke, but if this is what will get 285s not rubbing on the UCA, I’m okay with it. I think it looks pretty good, but I would not want much more….but everyone has their own opinion.

Also, a shameless plug for Motorsport Tech and their Bora spacers. Hands down, THE best customer service that I have experienced from ANY company in the past 15 years. Taylor and Lenny absolutely care deeply about their products and are passionate about getting you what you need to make you happy. Great company!!

I read somewhere on here that Toyota offset the axle for harmonics. 2nd gens are the same way as well.

Looking for an update.. still running those? How are they holding up?

I have some 285/70 r17s Toyo Open country AT3s on 17x8.5 SCS 6s with -10mm offset and wondering if I could get away with throwing them on my stock 2022 TRD Pro, not sure if that combo would do okay or not. Came from factory with some 265/70 r16s Wranglers.

I’ve since sold her, but I never had any issues with rubbing even while wheeling. I would think SCS wheels would have a higher chance of rubbing because of the size/offset. I’d say get the 285s if you want it. Worst case would be just a CMC, but maybe just some trimming would suffice

Those are much more fitting tires than factory, just be careful of a little rub or mud flaps not fitting without a lift.

I know this is an older thread, but here's my 2023 with a 3/4" BORA spacer and 285/75r16 toyo r/t trail. Gonna need a heat gun minimum up front with stock suspension, will lift if needed. So far so good, only the trails and our farm will lmk how much in need to trim.20230615_184525.jpg 20230615_184542.jpg 20230615_184553.jpg 20230615_184606.jpg 20230615_182319.jpg

Mine is in the shop right now getting 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's. I put a 3inch lift last week.
