For anyone running 285/75/16s on a stock pro (wheels/suspension), how is the ride with daily driving on those tires? I'm not concerned with MGP or anything like that, but do you feel the ride quality is better, worse, or the same driving down the road. I read somewhere that someone was complaining that those tires make the ride very "bouncy" in the cab.

I'd love to get a set of 285/75s before spring so I can get the Taco out on the trails here in AR. But with this being my daily driver, I might settle for 265/75s if it's going to sacrifice ride comfort. Thanks!

The ride is noticeably stiffer but not unbearable with E rated 285s, however you can play around with tire pressure to add some comfort back (I have mine set to 34psi for daily use).

I have been running Falken Wildpeak's for 3 years now, and absolutely loved them. IMO, they are a great "compromise" between a road tire and a trail tire. They have great performance in the rain and have never left ME wanting more off road.
That said, you should look into the Cooper ST Maxx as well. I've read some really good reviews about those.
If you haven't already, you should go into the "Wheels and Tires Forum" and do some research (reading), then decide what may be best for you based on what you want to do with your truck.

    Cheers

I'm planning to get 285/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks A/T3W or Nitto Ridge Grappler on my stock TRD Pro wheels and suspension. Would anyone know if the 2020 TRD Pro wheels have the same offset as the 2019's to run these tires without rubbing?

IMG_0107[520].jpg After reading this thread i pulled the trigger and went with 285/75/16 Nitto Ridge grapplers. I am happy to say I have not had any rubbing issues at all.

Debating between the R/T and A/Ts.. do you have any input on the differences -- besides the ~5lb difference? And still have KO2s on my list -- such a hard decision :(

I like the hybrid aspect of it. 90% of my diving is on road so I needed something that looked aggressive but was quiet while maintaining the capability to go offroad as well. The AT's have a better track record in the ice and snow though. Here is a goof article for reference: https://tirepost.com/2019/04/15/toyo-open-country-at2-vs-rt/

just installed Falken Wildpeak A/T 285/75/16 on my stock 2020 TRD Pro and rims with OEM mud flaps and NO rubbing as of yet since i've only done city driving. Will update once i do some wheeling. I do now have a set of Goodyear Wrangler 265/70/16 for sale with only 527 miles on them. I also can't really tell the difference of ride quality until I get a few more miles on them.

Update: did some mild wheeling and did rub slightly couple times. Not enough to cut and just used the heat gun.

Curious to know how that goes. Have the R/T's in 265/75/16 that I am a huge fan of and would be very interested in potentially upsizing to the 285's.
