Stock u-bolts for single aal?

    can I use the stock u-bolts with the new aal that I will be getting installed. Didn't see that any new longer ones were included.

    I used the stock u-bolts for my deaver AAL. There is over a quarter inch of threads exposed. I re-torqued them a one time. I have checked them a couple of more times, and they have been fine. I did read somewhere that you should not reuse them. I don't remember where.

    Man I wonder how stiff that single leaf rides. It looks as thick as a horseshoe

    It's a little stiff but not too bad. The e rated tires do not help much either. I dropped the air pressure in the rear tires to 34 psi and it helped alot.
