Will that jack go under the axle if the tire was flat? Minimum height 7-13/16 inches it should I'm guessing.

Seems like if you were literally on the rim, it would be about about an inch too tall, on hard, level ground. IDK how muck a tire on the rim would push the situation upward.

@Stocklocker to double check the measurements.

If I ever have a flat it will be on either asphalt or concrete. I think the stock jack would fit my needs. But since I bought a torque wrench I would not mind rotating my own tires so another jack would be handy. Like to have a pair of these, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJJZ5YC

^ Very cool, I like it. Would make a lazy mans life such as mine, a little safer

I have jack stands and two of the Harbor Freight floor jacks. Since I'm not under the vehicle (and lazy) when doing rotations, I just use the floor jacks. I use one to lift the whole side of the Camry, and two for the side of a truck. The floor jacks, in conjunction with a cordless impact makes rotations as close to effortless as it's gonna get.
Finally came off the money for a quality torque wrench for the first time in my life last week to double check the shop's numbers on some new rims.

So I checked and yes. If the tire was torn right off the 16” rim you could still get the jack under on dry pavement. 17” rims would give you another 1/2” of clearance on a completely shorn tire. It’s max extension is 16”, with the threaded extension, so for tire changes on pavement etc you do not need a wood block. On rough terrain it might help to have a block

    I need to remeasure.
And unless I'm not thinking it through, the 17" rim would only add 1/2' in additional clearance, no?

    I'm guessing between a inch - 2 inches.

That would damn sure do it, even by my measurements.

Then I would think a guy could get this jack/stand under the axle with a flat then. Judging by the pictures @Stocklocker posted with the steel tape, (13-1/2" from the ground to the bottom of the axle.) Lowest it will go is 8-5/8 inch. Ground is wet right now or I would slip out there and measure from the ground up to the wheel the you could minus a inch or 2 off that total. I'm thinking this jack will go under the axle with a flat though.

He's got an inch more clearance than I do.
I just remeasured, carefully, and my axle is exactly 12 1/2" off the ground, on 17 inch wheels running 265/65 Nittos.

Then it would not go under my axle with a flat because I have 16" alloys.

Your tire height is only 1/10th of an inch shorter than mine despite the 16" rim.

    245/75 = 30.5 tall
    265/65 = 30.6 tall

The hydraulic portion has a flat top, no cup for the axle so not very secure.
