Stock vehicle jack is trash... in need of upgrade

    Ehh. I checked my brake pads today with my crappy stock jack and they were fine so I’m just saving for new HAM radio.

    What’s next on your list besides everyone’s obvious better than stock jack?

    You know all that icky “plastic” inside the truck?


    I’m changing all of it. Old growth hardwood.

    And currently sourcing a high performance bottle jack, tig welded stainless, Bluetooth connectivity, no big deal. Its waaayyy better than stock.

    I just wondered coming from a Nissan ..... I read the manual and practiced changing a tire. Not that difficult. Had to ask if there was an issue with a stock jack. Thanks everyone.

    It’s actually one of the better stock jacks. I’m keeping it.

    I used it to change a tire the other day, worked perfectly. Save the energy on things that don't perform well.
