*Stockton is full *of* a bunch of....

I am born and raised in Stockton and I lived there for 21 years. I moved out of that place 16 years ago.

but, I go there every month to visit my family. I am amazed at what a hazard it has been parking my truck there. Since buying the truck, I have gone off-roading at holister SVRA, Carnegie SVRA, Prairie SVRA, the Eldorado national forest, and a few trails in Reno. I have yet to receive as much damage to my vehicle by off-roading as I have by just parking in Stockton parking lots.

I have 4 dings on my 2017 Tacoma and each one appeared after parking somewhere in Stockton.

I got a ding on the left front panel after parking in the Winco parking lot. I got a ding on the right bed panel after parking in the Weberstown mall near Dick's sporting goods. Someone rubbed against my right rear bumper and ding bumper at Costco. Finally, someone took-out my rear parking sensor by smashing straight into my rear bumper. I had to pay $160 for new sensor, and it was not easy to install the new plastic bezel for the sensor.

That place is full of animals who don't care about anything.

Yeah, I would say that’s every where. I was sitting in a my truck waiting for the wife as she went in the Safeway. Friggin mommy van parked so close to my driver side I could roll down my window and touch the hunk of shit.

Also had a person open their door on my vehicle as I was sitting in it. Wasn’t my truck but damn. This is why I hate most people. I have come to the conclusion that most people only think about themselves. I blame it on how people were raised.

I hear ya... but I parked in many different places in other cities, and nothing has ever happened. Just in Stockton.

I believe this is the case. I don't know why things are so bad in Stockton. I feel like it's home to the worst people of all cultures, but it's been that way since I was a kid.

Yea this. Most people just don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves. Even my dad slams my door into other cars or whatever other solid object is around.

It’s a waste of time, energy, and brain cells trying to convince people what they’re doing is wrong. I’ve asked him why and he just responds with “it’s just a little bit”. So I ask “so if you do it 100 times is it still a little bit?”

And yes. My doors look like shit.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Ever since installing sliders, I've prevented a majority of door dings as it have collected a bunch of nicks and scratches.

Sliders were the first thing I installed and they weren't just for rocks on the trail. :D
