Ya unfortunately our apartment complex doesn’t have a survelliane system.. this is probably the 7th time this has happened in our complex since august. So you’d think they’d install some lol

Yes apartment complex. That’s pretty much the assumption just because of how often it happens. We moved here in august and this must be at least the 8th time it’s happened. This is the second time they hit me, first time they just thrashed my cab and took some things.

Damn, that sucks! Glad to see you were able to get something nice to replace them, but sucks you had to go through that first.

being a multi family complex owner it is next to impossible to monitor all situations where a thief will do his business. Exits/entrances are easy, the problem is the volume of video. Something is happening ALL the time... many mega-bytes of data to sort through. This is the real pisser... the cops dont care, well, thats not 100% correct, they can only do so much. Take a report and file it. Most of the time the dollar limit threshold for this in CA ($950 if I remember) is not exceeded so this is equal to a ticketable offense. So the thiefs just keep stealing. I have advised my people to put up game cameras if they are that worried. You put up a camera and the woman who lives 3 units down thinks you are spying on her so you take the camera down.

You can always take an engraving pen and engrave your info on the inside of the rim towards the bead lock.

Did the insurance company handle this or was this all one you?

Luckily the insurance was able to cover the cost of the stolen ones.

Logans, sorry this happened to you. Thank goodness they did not steal the truck though, because that would be far worse. If they recover it, you wouldnt want it back and if they didn't it would probably take forever to find another spotless 1st Gen like you had. I had my car broken into and everything stolen before, but thankfully they did not take the car. I got a security system the day I got it back from the body shop.

The summer after HS graduation I worked for a Nissan dealer (1990) and one night thieves came in and hit our 300zx's and Maximas. They left those brand new Turbo Z's and Max's right on their rotors on the pavement. SMFH.

My xj was stolen and totalled March 2015, with only liability coverage on it.

My bright side is that I'm not dealing with the significant rust that thing brought with it from New England.

I've used that as a safe for years! Works a treat. I saw a toyota at a fab shop getting the passenger side airbag removed and a aluminum box made to fit where it was with a electric actuator to open it. First thing I thought was how big a gun would fit, lol!

Must be a shitty insurance company. I had no problem getting someone to write a full policy for an old, but clean 1991 Accord three years back

Man that's some straight tweekers shit who the fuck would go to the trouble breaking in and taking everything else and not take the whole truck that's just stupid.

Sorry for your luck man hopefully those thieves get what they deserve.

Damn that sucks dude! At least they left yours on stands though. I hope that it works out for you though! I came back once to find that my wheels had all been stolen and they didn’t even leave it on blocks...

People can really suck. I definitely want to get lock lugs and specialty screws for audio and light bars.
