I know it's a bit of a long shot posting on here, but I figure every little bit helps. My truck was stolen this morning, sometime between 5AM and 11AM from my parking spot in the alley behind my apartment in Georgetown. I discovered it was gone at 2PM when returning home from work.Called SPD, they showed up an hour later and I filed a report. The cop told me that the previous tenants of this duplex also had their vehicle stolen last year.
Not sure what good it will do, but if anyone happens to see a gold 2004 Toyota Tacoma with a white camper shell and some stickers, either around town or for sale, send me a message! Thanks guys, hoping for the best with this. truck.jpg

Whoa, the person who stole it replaced the VIN? I’m wondering if that’s what’s going to happen with mine. No word yet, I’ve been shopping around for a 2nd gen. I know that insurance will take a long time, and as of right now I’m stuck without a vehicle. Hoping for the best but I have no clue if this truck will ever make its way back to me.

It was a crew pretty sure they had connections w dmv to get it registered. Saw police report task force was assigned. My insurance was pretty simple truck was 2 yrs old had full coverage got rental next day at 30 days got check. I always questioned if you really "need" full cover but when shit happens wished you have best coverage. Best of luck!
