I had a goon steal mine over night recently and had the same issue... it would crank but not start/run. check the relay under the hood says EFI; I swapped mine with the one marked on the lid for the power outlet and that has cured my problem for the last several weeks and hopefully forever.

I say we start chopping off the hands of thieves. If we got to let the terrorists in our country, let's make them feel at home.

I guess try swapping relays. The trailer lights relay is the same as the fuel pump (if you have it).

I'm thinking O2 sensor isn't connected or got cut off with the cat. O2 sensor could have been connected when they yanked the cat out and pulled wires where you can't see. How many sensors can you count in there now?

Have you removed the battery cable to reset the computer? It will clear the code. If it comes right back, you will know there is a eak somewhere.

This that and the other thing.
while i was doing some reading saw a post by someone quoting the Haynes manual and it said theres two ways to remove fuel line pressure, one was to unplug the pump and the other was to unplug the opening circuit relay under the dash so from my understanding its possible the opening circuit relay went kapoot, started the first time when ur wife started it and released the pressure. just a thought

They are worth money as scrap just the same as copper. There have been churches in my area with air conditions gutted for copper, seems cats would be an easier score.

Yah when the foreclosures hit, lots of A/C would be taken, and CATs used to be taken

then it stopped for a while

    its back again now?

Also the Camry owner said, he couldn't swap in a aftermarket CAT, a in CA they check the CAT to car or some nonsense, so he is getting it for $1800 (I thought rip off) at Toyota dealer, and his insurance is covering

From what I've heard you can go aftermarket but have to get creative with the O2 sensors. A little research can go a long way, someone has found a way around it.
