I never noticed any restrictions in my CCW classes about prescription drugs keeping me from getting a CCW.

First, that happens on a regular basis without any drugs involved whatsoever.

Second, if they're on weed, they're more likely to set the cockroach up in a terrarium as a pet, or, at a bare minimum, offer it a snack.

I have known a few folks that used the herb and owned firearms.
I also know people that use alcohol and have firearms.
I have perscriptions for arthritis and I have never gone nuts with a firearm.

Seen lot's of stupid thing done with firearms by so called normal, unmedicated, sober, straight people at supervised gun ranges.

Weed will not make you shoot things at a whim unless you are used to doing it on a regular basis anyway.

 

I don't think there should be any restrictions on a free citizen using marijuana or carrying/owning guns. As long as they're not hurting anyone, let 'em be.

I think the whole MMJ is a G-Damn joke, there are plenty of other meds, just a reason for Grandma to be cool. Would not believe what they are giving it out for. Back in my Narc days, we caught a kid in school with it, said he was taking it for depression. another was loss of appetite... sad world. In dictator nations it is a serious life threatening penalty if caught using. reason is you become worthless and a drain on society once you become addicted. Only country in the world that has no restrictions on it is Amsterdam, and even there you can get arrested if you offend someone while using. IE blow smoke on them or make a fool of yourself. Last time I checked Amsterdam is not a super power. I think the nation needs to get back on its feet, and quit spending money on court cases like this one, sheriff said no, all courts said no, guess what, you dont get it! move on and find something else to taint.. my 2 cents
