Anyone know how to disable the auto relocking of doors after they are unlocked by key fob but then not opened quickly enough?

Is there a mod that can be done to make it stop doing that? I don't want 60 seconds instead of 30 seconds, I want to disable the feature completely.

It's annoying when you unlock the car but then take too long to open a door, the doors are locked again.

You don't say what year your truck is but this may help. Step #4 and get 2 chirps to shut off passive arming.

My question was about a 2006. I don't have a factory alarm so I think that other thread you pointed to won't apply.

Carry the keyfob with you.... :p:p

    Couldn't resist.

Call up Toyota, perhaps they can change the programming in the computer and do a reflash or something.

I haven't heard of any mods to change it.
