Back in a Tacoma after I totaled my JKU. With a kid on the way and me being 35 years old I needed a solid cab vehicle I never minded the leaks or wind noise just part of the fun. But man is it nice to be in a quite cab, and after being in a Wrangler for 7 years the Tacoma is a huge difference. Toyota really took advantage of the space in the cab with under and rear seat storage compartments. I had an 08 prior to the JKU and did not know how much I missed it till now. The intention of buying the truck was a safe baby hauler with hobby support. Not much of an off road guy I out grew that now more of a long range camping mind frame. That is why I was fine going with the TRD Sport, I looked at some TRD Off road trucks but the mileage was higher and price was to much higher i can do with out the rear locker.

    What I ended up with:
2014 TRD Sport Olive Green or Bronze as I see it. 58k miles.

My Vintage Trailer Works trailer weighs 1001 lbs dry I have added some weight, welded in a new tongue, built usable fenders, rear storage, rear bumper, 17' aluminum wheels and tires so it is maybe 1300ish now but you would never know it was back there driving down the road.

I can’t decide on wheels. I got two sets I am looking at both 16” which is what I want because I have new 16” tires sitting.

option one is the 2018 wheels with vinyl wrap and red emblem, I offered 500 they were asking 600 they come with new tires on them.

option two is just wheels they are asking $400 but I really like gun metal gray look.

moving my sensors over from my 17” wheels who’s has new tires so I am gonna try to sell my wheels and tires Nitto G2 grapplers for $250.
